We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. We willcomply with the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) (“GDPR”)unless and until the GDPR is no longer directly applicable in the UK, togetherwith any national implementing laws, regulations and secondary legislation asamended or updated from time to time in the UK including the Data ProtectionAct 2018 (“DPA”), and any successor legislation to the GDPR and the DPA(together “Data Protection Legislation”). We are the data controller of datayou pass to us pursuant to this policy.

We collect this information via GoogleAnalytics.

2.1         The Website uses cookies to recognise when a visitor is logged in to thewebsite and to measure anonymous data about website usage, for example thenumber of users visiting the Website. Please bear in mindthat if you object this may affect our ability to carry out tasks above foryour benefit. Withdrawal of your consent won’t affect any processing we havecarried out in respect of your personal data prior to you withdrawing consent.

3.7         If you wish to have your information removed from our database or if you do notwant us to contact you for marketing purposes, please let us know by clickingthe “Unsubscribe” option in any email we send to you and providing the detailsrequested or by sending an email to marketing@lindapter.com with the word‘unsubscribe’ in the subject line.

5.1         Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables youto access certain parts of the Website, you are responsible for keeping thispassword confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

5.2         Protecting your security and privacy is important to us and we make everyeffort to secure your information and maintain your confidentiality inaccordance with the terms of the Data Protection Legislation. 6.3.1        sell any or all of our business or assets or we buyanother business or assets in which case we may disclose your personal data tothe prospective buyer or seller;

7.1         Lindapter is a world leading manufacturer of steelwork clamping systems andsupplies products and services via a global network of authorised distributors.We may therefore transfer your data to a destination outside the EuropeanEconomic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operatingoutside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff may beengaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing ofyour payment details and the provision of support services. By submitting yourpersonal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will takeall steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your personal data is treatedsecurely and in accordance with this privacy policy. The destination to whichyour personal data will be transferred will either offer adequate protection ofyour personal data, as determined by the European Commission, or we will makesure there are appropriate safeguards in place. 8.        Your rights in respect of your data

8.1         There are a number of rights available to you under GDPR:

8.1.1        Access to your information

You can ask us to confirm that weprocess your personal data and provide access to and copies of the informationwe hold about you. We will process your request to access your information andprovide this information to you free of charge unless your request ismanifestly unfounded or excessive or repetitive, in which case we are entitledto charge a reasonable fee. We may also charge if you request more than onecopy of the same information.

We will provide the information yourequest as soon as possible and in any event within one month of receiving yourrequest, unless there are extenuating circumstances. If we need moreinformation to comply with your request, we’ll let you know.

8.1.2        Rectification of your data

If you believe personal data we holdabout you is inaccurate or incomplete, or any of the information you provide tous changes, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can make thenecessary changes to the information we hold for you on our database.

We will comply with your request withinone month of receiving it, unless we don’t feel it’s appropriate for us to doso in which case we’ll let you know why. We’ll also let you know if we needmore time to comply with your request.

8.1.3        Right to be forgotten

In some circumstances, you have theright to ask us to delete personal data we hold about you. This right isavailable to you:

·  where we nolonger need your personal data for the purpose for which we collected it;

·  where we havecollected your personal data on the grounds of consent and you withdraw thatconsent;

·  where youobject to the processing and we don’t have any overriding legitimate intereststo continuing processing the data;

·  where thepersonal data has to be deleted to comply with a legal obligation; and

·  where thepersonal data we process relates to the offer of online services to a child.

In some circumstances you are entitledto ask us to suppress processing of your personal data. This means we will stopactively processing your personal data but we don’t have to delete it. Thisright is available to you:

You have the right to ask us to provideyour personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable formatso that you are able to transmit the personal data to another data controller.This right only applies:
